I’m an amateur photographer… By amateur I mean I have no idea what I’m doing. I want to know what I’m doing, but I don’t. I received my first DSLR camera (Canon t4i Rebel with kit lenses EFS18-55 3.5 & EF 75-300 5.6) on Christmas day 2012, since then I have taken an 8 week beginners class and haven’t been out to practice nearly enough [read: ever].
One day I dream of being able to travel the world and come back with photos that rival National Geographic Magazine. Or at the very least make enough money selling photos on a tropical beach to fund a hobo style early retirement. Right now it’s nothing but a pipe dream so I have decided to take on a 365 challenge.
There are many incredible examples of the 365 challenge on-line, I likely won’t be one of them… not for a while anyway. The 365 challenge is basically one photo every single day of the year. one post per day. One photo per day. There will be days I’ll be inspired and I’ll strive to take a photo of something incredible. There will also be days where I can’t bare to do it and I’ll likely take a photo of my bedroom ceiling. Regardless, there will be a photo… ideally.
My biggest fear? I’ll never have inspiration and this blog will fade away after 3 days.
